POLITICAL PARTIES

Political parties in the Republic of Vaseya exist to organize ideas, represent different viewpoints, and help citizens participate in governance. Parties allow citizens to collaborate around shared principles, promote policy goals with party members, and support candidates during elections, while contributing to debate within the Senate and the broader political system.

Any citizen of the Republic may form a political party in accordance with the law. Parties must formally register, publish a basic platform outlining their beliefs and objectives, and operate within the framework of the Constitution. Participation in political parties is voluntary, and no party holds special authority over the state or its institutions.

Political parties do not govern the Republic directly. Executive authority remains with the Chancellor, and legislative authority rests with the Senate. While officials may belong to political parties, they are not legally bound to vote or act according to party positions, ensuring that governance remains focused on the interests of the Republic as a whole.
